Again one step beyond from 'Betty Lite' to 'Betty' style finish brings playing wear where lacquer has worn off, plenty scratches and dings as would happen over decades of daily use of the instrument. Years of experience in repair has brought many older guitars to Daniel's bench and the result is a tasteful antiqued finish that comes natural to the player, indeed as if playing a 60+ years old instrument.
A craquele finish is introduced on the top, back and sides of the instrument, as so often seen on nitro-cellulose lacquer instruments of age.
The hardware has a vintage patina in the beautiful way that nickel plating can age.
