1923 Black # 31314, 2014, all solid carved wood. The pickup, controls and output are all mounted on the pickguard so that the acoustic sound of the guitar is uncompromised. Very useful in those conditions where you need some amplification to be heard.
The pickup is specially designed for true reproduction of the guitar's acoustic sound and made by Ivo van Soest.
It has a 11 step tone switch which accurately pre-sets your favourite sound in combination with your amp. Click here to see a video of how it is mounted on the guitar.

A 1923 model in a black dress................... inspiration from the twenties!
In 1926 Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel published a picture of a short, simple black dress in American Vogue. It was half-length, straight and decorated only by a few diagonal lines. Vogue called it "Chanel's Ford". Like the Model T, the little black dress was simple and accessible for women of all social classes. Vogue also said that the LBD would become "a sort of uniform for all women of taste".
